5 Basic Believes Of Jesus In Islam The Messenger Of God (History Of Islam)

Jesus (Peace be upon him) is a significant Prophet in Islam. It is part of faith to believe in All prophets before Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him). In these prophets all prophets of Jews and Christians are included, Jesus, Moses, Abraham are few of them. Jesus Miracles In Quran is mentioned more time than Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) by his name. Jesus In Islam is mentioned with the name of Isa (Peace be upon him). All these mentioning shows the significance of Jesus In Islam.

1. The miraculous birth of Jesus In Islam:

In Holy Quran, Mary considered to virgin just like Christian believes. In Bible Mary mentioned 18 times while in Holy Quran Mary mentioned 32 times with name Marriyam. Almost double of Bible which shows her significance in Islam.

The good news of the birth of Jesus In Islam was given by angels to Mary. Mary became worried after hearing this news because she was virgin. here is verse:

And remember when the angels said, “O Mary, God sends you the good news of a Command of His: his name shall be Messiah, Jesus son of Mary. Mary said: “How, O Lord, shall I have a son when no man has ever touched me” Angels replied: “God creates whatever He wills. When He decrees a thing, He only says, “Be” and it is.” [Quran 3:45-46]

Angels also said God will teach him wisdom and gift him with knowledge of Torah, and appoint him Messenger to sons of Isreal.

2. Speaking from the cradle as Newly born baby (Jesus In Islam)

Speaking from the cradle as the newly born baby is also one of Miracle of Jesus In Islam. Jesus (peace be upon him) defend his mother by speaking from the cradle. He said “I am indeed a servant of Allah” which is the biggest Jesus Miracles In Quran. Here is verse:

At length she brought the (babe) to her people, carrying him (in her arms). They said: “O Mary! truly an amazing thing you have brought! “O sister of Aaron! your father was not a man of evil, nor your mother an unchaste woman!” But she pointed to the babe. They said: “how can we talk to one who is a child in the cradle?” He said: “I am indeed a servant of Allah. ”  [Quran 19:26-30]

In this verse, Mary being a virgin holy lady came back with newly born Jesus in her hand. People start criticizing her and at moment Jesus speaks up to defend her mother and proves her innocence. There is the whole chapter in name of the mother of Jesus In Holy Quran with name Marriyam (meaning Mary in English).

3. Death Of Jesus In Islam (Jesus In Islam):

In Quran God mentions that Jesus Christ was not killed or crucified.

” they said (in boast), ” We killed Christ Jesus the son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah “;- but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them ” [Quran 4:157]

In this verse, It is clear that Jesus was not killed or crucified. God is speaking directly to the people that this concept Jesus Christ as not crucified rather he was taken up by Angels alive.

4. Second Coming of Jesus In Islam (Jesus In Islam):

Just like Christian believe that Jesus Christ will come back the second time to make God’s kingdom on earth Just like as it is in heaven. Same believe is there in Islam, Muslim believe there Messiah Jesus Christ will come back to spread God religion in all world. This can be seen in Quran in this verse.

“He shall speak to people while still in the cradle, and in manhood, and he shall be from the righteous.” (Quran 3:46)

In this verse of Quran, Jesus will speak in the cradle as well in manhood. In Arab, manhood with full abilities is considered at age of 40 with max brain active. Jesus Christ took up from this world at age of 33, So he will come back. Other details are mentioned in Hadith of Muhammad (SAW).

5. Prophecy of Muhammad (SAW) by God in the Bible (Jesus In Islam):

God gave prophecy of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) to Prophet Moses. He said you have to follow to Follow Muhammad (SAW) when he came. Muhammad (SAW) mentioned in Deuteronomy 18:18. Here is the verse.

“I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their fellow Israelites, and I will put my words in his mouth. He will tell them everything I command him”  [DEUTERONOMY 18:18]

Fellow Israelites are also from the same family of Prophet Abraham. Prophet Abraham has three sons. One son gave birth to Prophet Israel. From another son, Prophet Muhammad (SAW) was born.

Jesus (Peace be upon him) also talks about Muhammad (Peace be upon him) to his companion. Here is verse

I still have much to tell you, but you cannot yetbear to hear it. However, when the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all truth. For He will not speak on His own, but He will speak what He hears, and He will declare to you what is to come ” [John 16:12]

All the words of Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) given from God through the angel. No one in the world has ever claimed that Muhammad (Peace be upon him) has ever spoked a lie in this life even not his enemy. He is Spirit of truth in all context.
